Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton is a French luxury brand famous for its leather goods, handbags, fashion accessories, and prêt-à-porter. It was founded in 1854 by Louis Vuitton, a Parisian trunk maker.
The brand's history begins when Louis Vuitton, at the age of 13, left his hometown of Anchay in eastern France to travel to Paris. After several years of apprenticeship as a trunk maker, he opened his atelier in Paris in 1854. He began creating revolutionary travel trunks, characterized by an innovative design, lightness, and durability, compared to the heavy wooden trunks used at the time.
The distinctive feature of Louis Vuitton trunks was the Trianon waterproof fabric, which was later replaced by the LV monogram canvas. This monogram pattern, created in 1896 by Louis Vuitton's son, Georges Vuitton, has become a brand icon and one of the most recognizable symbols in the luxury sector worldwide.
Over the years, Louis Vuitton has expanded its product range, introducing handbags, luggage, accessories, travel bags, and leather goods. Throughout the 20th century, the brand evolved further by introducing prêt-à-porter fashion lines, footwear, watches, jewelry, and fragrances. Louis Vuitton's shoulder bag styles have become a must-have for the contemporary woman, while small bags, such as the Accessoires model, are beloved by younger generations.
The brand has become synonymous with luxury, elegance, and style, with a clientele ranging from celebrities to fashion enthusiasts around the world. Over the years, the brand has expanded its global presence, opening stores in iconic cities such as Paris, New York, Tokyo, and Shanghai, and participating in international fashion and lifestyle events.
