The Moschino brand was founded in 1983 in Milan. The founder of the Italian fashion house was Franco Moschino, whose name gave rise to the brand itself. The brand achieved immediate success thanks to its innovative, colorful, and slightly eccentric designs.

Following his passing, Rossella Jardini and Jeremy Scott succeeded him; the latter revived the theater of the absurd founded by Moschino, carrying forward irreverent, exaggerated, and colorful collections that have captivated the global jet-set over the years.
