In 1858, he introduced the revolutionary flat-topped trunk covered in Trianon canvas. Unlike traditional trunks with domed lids, this model could be easily stacked during travel, achieving immediate success. The company grew rapidly and established itself as a benchmark for the most discerning clientele.

After the founder's death in 1892, his son Georges Vuitton took over the leadership of the maison and accelerated its international expansion. In 1896, he created the famous Monogram Canvas pattern, characterized by the LV initials and floral motifs that remain one of the most iconic symbols of global luxury today. The Monogram was also created as a tool to combat imitations, a widespread problem at the time.

Throughout the twentieth century, Louis Vuitton progressively expanded its offering by introducing bags and accessories that would become legendary, such as Speedy, Keepall, Noé, and Alma. The brand evolved from a manufacturer of travel goods into a true international fashion house.
