The story of the piece
Chanel
Chanel vintage CC logo leather Small Camera Bag shoulder bag
Chanel is one of the most iconic and influential maisons in fashion history. Founded in 1910 by Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel with the opening of a hat boutique in Paris, she revolutionized the way women dressed, offering an essential, elegant, and functional style, in stark contrast to the rigid dresses and corsets of the era. In the 1920s, she introduced creations destined to become legendary, such as the little black dress, tweed suits, pearl necklaces, and the famous Chanel N°5 fragrance, an everlasting symbol of the maison.
After a period of closure during the Second World War, Coco Chanel reopened the fashion house in 1954, quickly reclaiming the international scene thanks to the famous contrast-trim suit, an emblem of timeless elegance. Upon her death in 1971, the brand continued to represent a benchmark of French luxury.
In 1983, the creative direction was entrusted to Karl Lagerfeld, who reinterpreted the historical codes of the maison with a modern and innovative vision. For over thirty years, Lagerfeld transformed Chanel into a global phenomenon, keeping iconic elements such as the camellia, the interlocking double C logo, tweed, and gold chains as protagonists, reinterpreting them season after season.
