In 1896, he created the famous Monogram LV, designed to combat counterfeiting and destined to become one of the most recognizable symbols of luxury in the world.
Throughout the twentieth century, the maison expanded its offering, moving from trunks to bags, leather goods, and accessories. Iconic models such as the Speedy and the Keepall were born, perfect examples of elegance and functionality. The brand thus consolidated its reputation for artisanal excellence.
A decisive turning point occurred in 1987 with the merger between Louis Vuitton and Moët Hennessy, leading to the birth of the LVMH group, today a global leader in the luxury sector. In the following years, the brand also entered the world of prêt-à-porter, thanks to the contribution of prominent creative directors.
Today, Louis Vuitton represents one of the most prestigious maisons in the world, a symbol of tradition, innovation, and contemporary luxury.
