Nike x Off White sneakers VaporMax “The Ten”. Based in Milan, Off-White defines itself as a “luxury fashion brand born from street culture”. By merging urban aesthetics, conceptual references, and contemporary silhouettes, Abloh transformed Off-White into a global phenomenon. The brand is known for its use of quotation marks (“”), industrial graphics, the cross-arrow logo, and the diagonal stripe pattern, which have become distinctive symbols. Its collections are often accompanied by artistic, architectural, and cultural references.

Off-White quickly established itself through high-impact collaborations, including the famous partnership with Nike for “The Ten” collection, which reimagined ten iconic sneaker models. Other collaborations include IKEA, Levi’s, Moncler, Jimmy Choo, and Louis Vuitton.

In 2018, Virgil Abloh became the artistic director of the menswear line at Louis Vuitton, the first Black designer to lead a major French luxury maison, consolidating his position as a revolutionary figure in contemporary fashion.

Off-White continued to grow until Abloh's premature passing in November 2021. Following his death, the brand chose to honor his legacy by keeping his innovative vision alive.

Today, Off-White is part of the LVMH group and is considered one of the brands that redefined the boundaries between streetwear and high fashion in the 21st century.
