Following the founder's death, his son Georges Vuitton continued the company's development, contributing to its international expansion. In 1896, he created the famous Monogram Canvas pattern, characterized by the "LV" initials and stylized floral motifs. Created to protect the brand from imitations, the Monogram has become one of the most recognizable symbols of luxury fashion and continues to represent the maison's identity today.

Throughout the 20th century, Louis Vuitton progressively expanded its offering, complementing its historic luggage production with a wide range of bags, small leather goods, accessories, and travel items. Models such as the Keepall, the Speedy, the Noé, and the Alma have entered design history, becoming true icons appreciated worldwide.

In 1987, Louis Vuitton merged with Moët Hennessy to form the LVMH group, now the world leader in the luxury sector. Ten years later, in 1997, Marc Jacobs was appointed the first creative director of the maison, introducing ready-to-wear collections and launching artistic collaborations with figures such as Takashi Murakami and Yayoi Kusama, helping to renew the brand's image.
