The turning point came with the birth of her daughter Marguerite in 1897. Jeanne began creating elegant dresses for the child, which garnered great interest among her clients. This experience led to the first collections dedicated to children and, subsequently, women's lines. The strong bond between mother and daughter became the symbol of the maison and is still represented today in the famous Lanvin logo.

In the 1920s, Lanvin achieved international fame thanks to its sophisticated creations, characterized by refined embroidery, precious fabrics, and extraordinary attention to detail. The maison progressively expanded its offering by introducing menswear, accessories, home decor, and fragrances. In 1927, it launched Arpège, an iconic fragrance inspired by her daughter Marguerite, still considered one of the most famous perfumes in the history of perfumery.

After the death of Jeanne Lanvin in 1946, the maison underwent several stages of transformation, while maintaining its identity founded on elegance and artisanal excellence. Over the years, the brand has been led by various creative directors who have reinterpreted the founder's legacy through a contemporary vision.
