Gucci dress in silk blend

Wonderful Gucci silk blend sleeveless dress. Featuring a slightly flared cut, it has an allover geometric pattern in a play of white, black, and silver, finished with a black trim at the hem. To make it special for the office or more important occasions, pair it with silver ballet flats.

Condition: 8/10 very good. (Stain on the inner neckline as shown in photo)

Guccio Gucci, founder of the Maison, was born in Florence on March 26, 1881. In 1897, the young Florentine moved to London, where he worked as a porter at The Savoy hotel; the allure of the jet-set and the fascination with an affluent lifestyle and beauty drove him to open his boutique; Guccio was inspired by luxury and quality, gradually expanding the product range to include other fashion accessories such as bags, belts, and gloves. From there, the brand began its ascent toward great success.

We recognize the brand's signature in the equestrian symbols and the interlocking double G created in 1955, as well as its iconic colors: the famous green and red Gucci stripe inspired by the underside of a horse saddle.
