In the 1950s, Dior continued to innovate, creating history-making lines such as the A, H, Y, and Oval silhouettes, each focused on a different way of enhancing the female form. In a short time, the maison expanded worldwide, becoming a luxury empire with collections of clothing, accessories, perfumes, and leather goods.

Following the premature death of Christian Dior in 1957, the creative direction was entrusted to his young assistant Yves Saint Laurent, who modernized the maison with a fresh and revolutionary touch. He was followed by Marc Bohan, who brought rigor and classic elegance for over two decades, and then Gianfranco Ferré, who introduced an architectural and opulent glamour.

In 1996, John Galliano arrived, whose theatrical, romantic, and visionary style marked an era, redefining haute couture with spectacular runway shows and a powerful narrative imagery. In 2012, Raf Simons took over, interpreting the Dior DNA with minimalism, purity, and modernity.

Since 2016, the maison has been led by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the first woman to hold the creative director position. Her collections blend femininity, craftsmanship, couture, and social messages, making Dior a contemporary cultural symbol as well as a style icon.

Today, Dior remains one of the most influential fashion houses in the world, a symbol of elegance, innovation, and couture savoir-faire, faithful to the timeless vision of Christian Dior.
