Céline distinguished itself with a functional and refined style, designed for the modern, active, and independent woman. In the 1970s, the famous interlocking double “C” logo was born, inspired by the chains surrounding Place Vendôme, becoming one of the maison's most recognizable symbols.

In 1996, Céline joined the LVMH group, launching a phase of international expansion. After several creative changes, the true turning point arrived in 2008 with the appointment of Phoebe Philo as creative director. Under her guidance, Céline became an icon of contemporary minimalism, acclaimed for its clean lines, studied volumes, and an intellectual, discreet luxury that won over critics and a global audience.
