In the following ten years, Dior defined the most emblematic silhouettes of modern couture: the A-line, the H-line, the Y-line, and ever-new interpretations of the famous Bar suit. In parallel, the maison expanded beyond couture, launching accessories, perfumes — including Miss Dior, dedicated to his sister Catherine — and beginning to build a complete universe of style.

Upon Dior's sudden death in 1957, direction passed to his young assistant Yves Saint Laurent, who brought freshness and modernity. He was followed by designers such as Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, and especially John Galliano, who from 1996 infused a theatrical, romantic, and visionary aesthetic, revolutionizing the brand's image and bringing it back to the center of the international stage.

In 2012, the maison entrusted creative direction to Raf Simons, who reinterpreted the Dior heritage through a minimalist and architectural lens, prioritizing purity and innovation. In 2016, Maria Grazia Chiuri arrived, the first woman to lead the brand: her approach celebrates contemporary femininity, artisanal savoir-faire, and social themes related to identity and empowerment.
