After a complex period in the 1980s, marked by family tensions, a turning point arrived in 1994 with Tom Ford, who revitalized Gucci with a bold, sensual, and strongly contemporary style. The brand returned to the center of the international stage and became a protagonist of 2000s fashion.

In 2006, creative direction passed to Frida Giannini, who enhanced the heritage with a more romantic and sophisticated aesthetic.
