Blumarine was born in 1977 from the creative and romantic encounter between Anna Molinari and Gianpaolo Tarabini in Carpi, in the heart of the Emilian textile district. The brand name is inspired by the designer's favorite color, sea blue, a symbol of femininity, romance, and expressive freedom. From its early days, Blumarine has stood out for a refined and sensual style, characterized by floral details, precious embroidery, lace, furs, and soft silhouettes that celebrate an elegant yet contemporary woman.

In the eighties, the brand quickly conquered the international market thanks to its recognizable aesthetic and strong connection to Made in Italy. Anna Molinari's collections are appreciated for their romantic glamour and a vision of femininity that is sophisticated but never rigid. The designer, nicknamed "the queen of roses," made the floral motif one of the maison's distinctive elements.

During the nineties and two-thousands, Blumarine expanded its universe with secondary lines, accessories, fragrances, and international collaborations, consolidating its presence in the major fashion capitals.
