First of all, the first thing to know is that since 2023, the DAC7 directive has come into force in Italy, which requires sales platforms or marketplaces to communicate the data of sellers who have made more than 30 sales in a year or who have achieved sales revenues exceeding 2000 euro. The data must be communicated to the Agenzia delle Entrate. The directive obviously aims to "uncover" those who carry out regular selling activities of used goods, or even new ones, without having regularly opened a VAT number. To those who do not declare these revenues, the Agenzia delle Entrate, which will receive the data automatically from the main platforms and marketplaces, will send a letter.
