In partnership with another Italian company and one Peruvian, in 1965 it acquired a share of vicuña fabrics that Peru had liberalized after a 30-year ban on shearing the camelid. Agnona effectively becomes a luxury womenswear brand producing garments made with precious materials, refined and elegant cuts, contributing to the great prestige of haute couture and made in Italy craftsmanship.

In the '60s, Agnona became a supplier of fine textile materials for the greatest international brands such as Balenciaga, Givenchy, Cardin, Dior, Balmain, Hermès, Saint Laurent and Courrège.

The industry operates a full production cycle, from raw material to prêt-à-porter, launched in the early '70s: from warehousing to mixing, from spinning to roving, winding, warping, weaving, shearing, edging, to garment production, especially knitwear and accessories in precious fibers. Distribution occurs through mono-brand boutiques and a selection of points of sale worldwide. In those same years, Walter Albini was chosen to design the brand's first collection.
