In the fifties and sixties, the brand expanded rapidly, introducing collections of women's footwear and accessories, eventually entering the prêt-à-porter world. Celine became synonymous with understated and functional luxury, designed for the modern, independent, and sophisticated woman. In the seventies, the famous interlocking double “C” logo was born, inspired by the chains of Place Vendôme, strengthening the maison's visual identity.

In 1996, Celine joined the LVMH group, marking the beginning of a new international phase. After years of transition, the true creative relaunch arrived in 2008 with the arrival of Phoebe Philo as creative director.
