Celine has a long and deep-rooted history in the fashion world. The first boutique was opened by Celine Vipiana and her husband, Richard, at 52 rue Malte in Paris. Together they created one of the first luxury brands in the sector, Celine, a bespoke children's footwear company. Then, year after year, the maison's success allowed it to expand, creating collections with Parisian chic. Considered the brand for Women, with the appointment of designer Phoebe Philo, the true identity of the brand and Céline Vipiana's aesthetic was revealed: an elegant, minimalist, and precise version that, with its strong and clean lines, speaks to contemporary consumers. Céline remains faithful to this fashion style to this day – now under the creative direction of French designer Hedi Slimane.
